Is Kedarkantha suitable for beginners?
Yes, Kedarkantha is one of the best treks for beginners. The trail is well-marked, distances are manageable, and the altitude gain is gradual. Basic fitness is required.
When is the best time to do this trek?
December to April is ideal for snow. December-February offers heavy snow, while March-April has moderate snow with warmer weather. The trek is also beautiful in May-June without snow.
How cold does it get?
Temperatures can drop to -10°C to -15°C at night during peak winter (Jan-Feb). Proper warm clothing is essential. We provide quality sleeping bags rated for extreme cold.
Is the summit guaranteed?
Summit attempts depend on weather conditions and group fitness. Safety is our priority. In case of bad weather, we may have to turn back, but you'll still experience an incredible trek.
